The Akhisar Great Mosque is an Ottoman-period mosque in the Akhisar district of Manisa. Thought to have been built in the late 15th century, it is one of the early examples in the search for a centrally planned mosque. The site is believed to have previously held a Byzantine-era church, with the mosque built upon its remains.
