Editor's Note
The Seyrani Monument in the Develi district of Kayseri is dedicated to the poet Seyrani (1800-1866), who was born in the town. It was created in 1976 by sculptor Gürdal Duyar on commission from the mayor of Develi and has since become a symbol of the town.
