Aynalı Mağara lies on the road to Ziyaret, 3.3 kilometers from the centre of Amasya, and is known for its carved rock tomb. Reached by four steps, the tomb is cut into a flat rock face, 9.8 meters wide and 13 meters high. The carvings of the façade were burnished to a shine, and when sunlight strikes it the front of the cave gleams, one explanation for the name, which means Mirrored Cave.
