The mosque has a square plan and a hipped tiled roof. It is a classical Ottoman-period village mosque. Inside are a wooden minbar and preaching pulpit. The decorations and calligraphic lines on the walls fill the mosque's interior. Its mihrab is painted blue and orange. Above the mihrab is written "dahîlike yâ rasûlullah" — that is, "admit us to your side, O Messenger of God." Below this is written "kullemâ dehale aleyhâ zekeriyyâl mihrâbe" — that is, "each time Zechariah (peace be upon him) entered the prayer chamber." The walls also bear the calligraphic names of Allah, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and the Four Caliphs.
