The Taşucu Arslan Eyce Amphora Museum, in the Taşucu town of Silifke district in Mersin, displays amphorae from antiquity. Known in antiquity as Holmi, Taşucu was an important port city whose agricultural produce was traded in vessels called amphorae. Many amphorae are still found in seabed surveys around the area today.
