Editor's Note
During a foundation excavation for construction carried out in 1971 under the supervision of the Istanbul Archaeology Museums, wall remains belonging to a cistern were uncovered. After the wall remains, whose surface was found to be coated with cistern plaster, had been photographed, construction was allowed to proceed. The remains have not survived to the present day.
