A TCDD station on the Istanbul-Ankara railway in Gebze, Kocaeli. Opened in 1873 as part of the Ottoman-built line toward Izmit, it was electrified in 1969 and long served as the eastern terminus of the Haydarpaşa commuter service. After being rebuilt for the Marmaray project and the new Istanbul-Ankara high-speed railway, it reopened in stages from 2014, and today serves high-speed, regional, and Halkalı-Gebze Marmaray commuter trains.
