Located in the Cayirova district of Kocaeli, this mosque is thought to have been built in 1910. Standing in the Akse neighbourhood, it became the first registered historical monument of Cayirova. It was registered under decision no. 2028 dated 28.06.2011, taken at the 28.06.2011 meeting no. 163 of the Kocaeli Regional Board for the Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage, in accordance with Article 6 of Law no. 2863.
