Editor's Note
Completed in 1929, the pavilion is a square-plan, timber-frame building surrounded by columns. Its entrance lies on the east side; on the ground floor there is a small room, a sitting room, a toilet and shower, and a meeting hall with a sea view enclosed in crystal glass. The upper floor, reached by wooden stairs to the right of the entrance, has a rest room opening onto a small hall, a bedroom and a toilet-bathroom, while a door at the end of a short corridor on the north side leads out to a terrace. At Ataturk's wish, no kitchen was built in the pavilion. Ataturk visited the pavilion one day in 1930.
