Editor's Note
Throughout the monumental structure's interior and exterior walls, scattered rubble stone and double courses of brick stand out. Its upper covering, probably of wood, has not survived, and it is understood to have been roofed with a hipped roof. The original window openings were formed with brick barrel arches. The church's original entrances are no longer in use, and a large part of the west facade has been lost. The apse was recently walled up and closed off, and it probably forms the rear wall of the shops on the south facade. The surviving wall remains are roughly 30–40 cm thick.
