Editor's Note
It stands in the village of Keşlik, Bozkurt district, Kastamonu province, and is estimated to be about three centuries old. It is one of the nail-free mosques built with the interlocking timber technique. The mark of the Kayı tribe appears in the upper left and right corners of the mosque's mihrab. The number 1164 is carved in many places on the mosque's exterior walls. This number indicates that the mosque was built in the Hijri year 1164 or earlier, proving that the mosque has a three-century-old history.
