Inscription and History: There is no inscription on the fountain. There are examples with a similar facade design and arched form to the Bedesten Street Fountain in Kastamonu. The cusped (kas) arch form was frequently applied in the fountains of Inebolu. The cusped arch can be seen on the front facades of the Dr. Atilla Gursoy Avenue Street Fountain I (1904-05), the Mehmet Sevki Avenue Street Fountain (1900-01) (Catalogue No. 4.7.12), the Su Yolu Street Fountain (1910-11) and the Cinili Mosque Fountain (19th century) in Inebolu.
