The Pervane Baths, located in the centre of Sinop opposite the Alâeddin Mosque, is a structure built as a double bath. Although there is a record that it was built in 1215, its exact founder is unknown. Constructed of rubble and cut stone, the bath is roofed with vaults and domes and has a symmetrical plan. Today it is no longer used as a bath and has been turned into a fast-food venue.
