Editor's Note
It lies within the boundaries of Mencekli village in the Cide district of Kastamonu province. Said to have been built by Merzifonlu Kara Mustafa Pasha, the mosque was in use until 1965, after which it fell into disuse. The mosque and its surrounding graveyard are being damaged by treasure hunters.
