Editor's Note
Inscription and History: The fountain has no inscription. To its east stands the Gideros Mosque, dated AH 1313 / AD 1896–97. On this basis, it is possible to date the fountain to the late 19th century. The mosque and the fountain, both in a fairly ruined state, were restored by the General Directorate of Foundations between 2013 and 2014.
