Editor's Note
The Orduyeri Bridge over the Bartın Stream was built in 1887 under the leadership of İsmail Kemal Bey, the Sanjak Governor of Bolu, with the help of local people. Orduyeri is the name given to the area where Mehmed the Conqueror set up his military camp in 1460, before the conquest of Amasra.
