Within the cemetery at the entrance to the town of Kıyıköy, beside the main road, there is a tumulus on which newer graves have been buried. Many Ottoman-period gravestones, both head and foot stones, can also be seen. A number of these Ottoman gravestones are broken and left abandoned.
