Editor's Note
Located at the Ayazma locality in Süloğlu district, this tomb is of baldachin form and has a square plan. Its main interior space, the burial chamber, has been damaged. The tomb's plinth is built of roughly hewn stone and the rest of brick. The surviving traces suggest it was probably covered by a dome rising on a polygonal drum and carried on pendentives. The square brick piers, rising on a plinth laid with four courses of roughly hewn stone, are joined at the top by pointed arches. The fully open arches, like the piers, are built of brick measuring 28×28 cm.
