This building lies within the boundaries of Çömlekakpınar village, Lalapaşa district, Edirne province. It was built of volcanic tuff stone on a rectangular plan. It appears that, following a permit dated to 1911 and the demolition of the village's existing church, this church was erected on the site of an illegally built one. During the Republican period its narthex and apse were demolished, a basement was added that changed the ground level, and it was used as a school.
