Editor's Note
It was built in 1888 during the reign of Abdülhamid II. It is the only redoubt among the Edirne fortifications whose inscription survives today. The redoubt has a triangular plan and consists of two sections. It is one of the 24 redoubts that formed Edirne's line of defense and encircled the city. [1] Source: [1] (2013).
