It stands beside the Evliya Kasım Paşa Mosque, a waterside mosque on the bank of the Tunca River. Within this area, which also contains the tomb of Evliya Kasım Paşa, a large cemetery enclosure and its gravestones, buried over the years under nearly two meters of earth fill, were brought to light when the restoration project of the building began.
