Editor's Note
It lies within the Sabuni neighbourhood of Edirne's central district. The bathhouse, which was once connected to a dwelling, has come down to the present day in a ruined state following the demolition of that house. An exploratory excavation around the partly surviving bathhouse established that there had been a Late Ottoman-period dwelling connected to the bathhouse in this area, and that the bathhouse was attached to it. Because of its small scale and this connection, the bathhouse has been classified as a private house bath.
