Editor's Note
It was built by Murad II in 1427. It is a square-plan, single-domed masonry mosque. Set within a small garden, the building also has a courtyard cemetery. Built of cut stone, it has a single dome resting on squinches and a minaret. The lower-tier windows are irregularly placed in the body walls. Each of the prayer hall's east, west, and south façades has a total of four window openings - one in the lower tier, two in the second tier, and one on the drum. The rectangular lower-tier windows have pointed-arch lunettes. The upper-tier windows are pointed-arched.
