This two-story building over a basement is monumentalized by an entrance supported by wooden columns. On the first floor of the entrance façade there is a bay carried by these columns. It was registered as a protected immovable cultural asset (Group 2) by Decision No. 7697 of the Edirne Council for the Conservation of Cultural and Natural Heritage, dated 4 July 2003. From the church-complex layout plan that Demircan and Bayatlı identified in the Ottoman archives, it is understood to have been built as the residence of the Armenian Bishop.
