Editor's Note
It lies within the Yeniimaret neighborhood of the central district of Edirne province. The date of construction of the masjid, commissioned by Hacı Kılavuz, is unknown. It was a masjid with a wooden roof, a single minaret, and a large cemetery. From the surviving minaret base it is understood to have been renovated in the 19th century. Its roof is known to have fallen into ruin in the late 19th century, and the building itself collapsed in 1908-1909.
