Editor's Note
This bridge, which lies as a continuation of the Bayezid II Bridge and bears no inscription, is recorded by sources as having been built in 1570 during the reign of Selim II and in his name. It has one large arch on the Bayezid Bridge side and five small arches on the others. Because of the single large arch, the bridge is called "Yalnız Göz" (Single Eye).
