The building no longer survives. Because it stood by the riverbank, it was raised on stones to protect it from floods, which earned it the name "Foundationless Mosque." It is understood to have had a square plan, a hipped roof, and a single minaret. Since its name appears in a foundation deed dated 1420, it is thought to have been built in the 15th century. It once had a large cemetery extending all the way to the Tunca River.
