Editor's Note
It stands within the Çavuşbey neighborhood of the central district of Edirne province. Belonging to the Hoca İlyas Foundation, the building has a wooden ceiling, a lead-covered dome, a single minaret, and a stone pulpit. According to Rıfkı Melul Meriç, it was built in 1574. By Decision No. 95 of 11 January 1940, it was sold to Fethi Alaca at 10 kuruş per square meter.
