Timurtas Pasha Mosque is located in Timurtas (Demirtas) Farm (Village), to the southwest of the Karaagac neighborhood of Edirne. As is understood from his endowment deed dated 820 AH / 1417 CE, Subasi (Muinuddin) Timurtas Pasha established the Ibn-i Gurgen meadow of Edirne, later known together with its mosque as Timurtas Village, as a family endowment, with himself as trustee for the duration of his life.
