As a result of a surface survey conducted by Barış Toptaş in Koruköy Village, the location of the Church of Aya Nikola, built in 1866, was identified from information given by village residents; however, because the church collapsed many years ago and its stones were reused in building other structures nearby, no remains were found. The church stood at a cemetery on the same site that had been in use since the Roman period and intensively during the Byzantine period; no plan, photograph or similar document relating to it survives.
