The castle remains lie 2.8 km north of Çukurpınar Village, in woodland on a commanding hilltop. They enclose an area of about 45 by 60 metres. The structure has largely disappeared. At ground level, wall remains can be seen at foundation level as heaps of stone. The wall bonding cannot be made out. The site is being damaged by treasure hunters. To the immediate east, activities have begun to open a stone quarry.
