The building is known to have been built by the French between 1910 and 1912, when construction of the railway line began and it came into service. French words can be seen written on some parts of the structure. Kırklareli Station Building was registered by decision no. 646 of the Monuments Council, dated 20/04/1990. Source: Yıldız, A. (2013).
