Editor's Note
The ground floor is used as a coffeehouse and the upper floor as a residence. The coffeehouse entrance is at the southern corner. The residential part is reached from the left side of the southwest façade. The walls of the ground floor and first floor are of timber-frame infill, with the façades clad in wood. The first floor projects out by 30 cm, and the eaves molding is of carved wood. The ceilings have wooden lath; in some rooms the old ceiling has been covered over with plywood. On the first floor, used as a residence, there are three rooms reached from a central hall, plus a kitchen and a bathroom. The roof is a hipped roof covered with traditional Turkish tiles. In the inventory report the building is dated to the Late Ottoman period.
