In the old cemetery in the village of Sergen, Vize district, Kırklareli province, there are inscribed Ottoman-period gravestones together with numerous uninscribed menhir-shaped stones. Some of these have been toppled or pulled out of place. The earliest legible gravestone is dated AH 1198, and there is a 2 m tall marble, decorated gravestone dated AH 1225. Some of the gravestones have been damaged, while others have been toppled or pulled from their places.
