It is located within the bounds of the village of Sergen in the Vize district of Kırklareli province. In illegal excavations at the wooded castle site, the wall remains encountered consisted of rough-hewn stones plastered with mortar containing sand, gravel and lime and joined with white mortar, alongside which flat, wide brick fragments were also found. Owing to the heavy use of white mortar, it is thought to have been in use during the Roman period. It was registered by the Edirne Regional Conservation Board for Cultural Heritage by the decision dated 25.12.2024 and numbered 10595.
