On the slope of a hill within the village of Soğucak, this rectangular-plan church is covered by a hipped roof. The old church building was constructed on an east–west axis and later used as a school building. The entrance door is reached by a semicircular platform with steps. The stone structure, originally built as a church, was lit by windows along its long sides and toward the apse. Traces of the old apse, semicircular in form, survive on the exterior of the building. Although the wooden tie-beams within the thick outer walls have decayed, the body walls have retained their soundness.
