It is located in the Aşağı Koyunlu (Kirazlı) village of Şavşat. This medieval space is known to have once served as a retreat for clergy. One face of the structure rests entirely against the rock. The building consists of two distinct sections within the rock, one of them a rock-cut church, and a room created by carving into the rock.
