Editor's Note
It was probably built in the 16th century by Mustafa Bey (Zortana/Zoro), one of the Christian Atabegs who converted to Islam during the reign of Yavuz Sultan Selim. Built using infill-wall technique, open for worship, covered externally with a double-pitched roof and having a nearly square plan, the mosque has neither a last-congregation porch nor a minaret. Although the building has little architectural distinction, it holds spiritual importance as the first mosque built in the area. [1] —– 1 Turkiye Culture Portal
