The mosque is located in the Yenikoy neighbourhood of the Savsat district of Artvin and is popularly known as the Central Mosque. Built as a church in 1900 during the Russian occupation of Savsat, it was converted into a mosque in 1924 and is used as a mosque to this day. [1] —– 1 All the Mosques of the World
