Editor's Note
Location: It stands in the town centre of Findikli (Vice), the easternmost district of Rize. History: There are two inscriptions on the building, over the entrance and over the minbar door. From the informational plaque at the entrance, written in modern Turkish, we learn that the building was constructed in 1765 and underwent restoration in 2009. The minbar door bears the date "La Ilahe Muhammeden Resulullah 1291/1874." Earlier assessments of the mosque state that it was built by Hacisahinzade Mehmet Bey and constructed in 1765.
