Inscription and History: The building has no construction inscription, but it does bear two repair inscriptions, one on the surface of its niche and the other above its eaves. First Inscription: This is located above the eaves of the fountain. Measuring 0.30 x 0.35 m, it consists of two lines set within a rectangular panel. The inscription is written in celi ta'lik script, and its language is Ottoman Turkish.
