The building of the former Samsun Boys' Vocational Institute (the workshops and classrooms section) was designed as a standard-type project by the Office of the Undersecretariat of Technical Education, headed by Paul Bonatz, and built in 1945. The structure, now known as Şehit İlhan Hamlı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, is undergoing reinforcement work.
