Editor's Note
Formerly known as the Samsun Archaeology and Ethnography Museum, the Samsun Museum displays artefacts from the Chalcolithic, Early Bronze, Hittite, Hellenistic, Roman and Ottoman periods found in and around the city. It stands in the city centre, near the provincial governor's office.
