Hacı Hatun Mosque stands on Hacı Hatun Street in the Kale neighbourhood of Samsun's İlkadım district. A single-domed structure built in the Ottoman period, probably in the 19th century, it is known as the first mosque in Samsun to have a minaret. Additions made in 1976-1977 caused it to lose its original appearance, and it now has the look of a modern mosque.
