Editor's Note
Located on the village square, the masonry mosque has a rectangular-plan prayer hall and entrance portico with a timber roof, and was built in 1704. Above the entrance door is an inscription flanked symmetrically on both sides by motifs carved in relief on stone, depicting a flower in a vase symbolizing the tree of life. After the mosque's original wooden minaret collapsed, a single-balcony minaret of fired brick was built separately from the structure in 1956 to its northeast.
