Located in the Menemen district of İzmir, the Şehit Kubilay Monument was erected in memory of Mustafa Fehmi Kubilay, who was killed during the Menemen Incident of 23 December 1930. Created by sculptor Ratip Aşir Acudoğu, it was unveiled on 26 December 1934. Built of marble and bronze, the statue stands 15.66 metres tall.
