It was built in 1889 (1370 AH) by Seyyid Mehmed Asım Bey and Fatıma Zehra Elmas Hanım. Its inscription reads: The benefactor of good works and charity, desirous of paradise and high ranks, the servant praying for the Sublime State, may God protect it from afflictions and calamities—the late, presumed paradise-dwellers, sons of Es-Seyyid el-Hac Osman Efendi, Es-Seyyid Muhammed Asım Bey and Fatımatü'z-Zehra Elmas Hanım; may God forgive them both and their parents and all believing men and women, the living among them and the dead.
