Editor's Note
It was built in 1804 (1219 AH) by the father of the late Abdullah Derici, a former mayor. Leased free of charge from its owners for a period of 15 years, the mansion was restored and decorated and opened for use in 2015. On the ground floor the two-story mansion is laid out with a kitchen, hall, exhibition room, pantry and a daily-use room. The second floor has five rooms and again a spacious hall, divided into two as the haremlik (women's) and selamlık (men's) sections.
