The First Bullet Monument was erected in 1974 on Konak Square in İzmir in memory of the journalist Hasan Tahsin, killed during the Occupation of Smyrna on 15 May 1919. It depicts Hasan Tahsin holding a gun in his right hand and a flag in his left.
