According to its inscription, the mosque was built in 1407 by Ali Paşa, son of Tuvrut Bey. Considering the period in which Ali Paşa lived and the name of the village, he is thought to have been the Ali Paşa nicknamed Hondsalar, who was the commander-in-chief of Candaroğlu İsfendiyar Bey. The mosque is located in the village of Alipaşa, in the Daday district of Kastamonu province, on Block 112, Parcel 14, southeast of the village settlement. The mosque is of masonry and has a rectangular plan. Its roof is triangular. The minaret is positioned to the northwest of the mosque.
